 As we all know Uttar Pradesh is a most populated and fourth largest state in India. So here we will discuss about the first in Uttar Pradesh and few introduction of them.

First Governor of  Uttar Pradesh 

Sarojini Naidu (13 Feb. 1879 - 2 March 1949) was born in Hyderabad. She was the first Indian women to be President of the INC (Indian National Congress) and appointed as a governor of the state. Naidu's birthday, 13 February, is celebrated as Women's day to recognize powerful voice of Women in India's history.   


First Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh 

Govind Ballabh Pant (10 Sep. 1887- 7 March 1961) was born khoont village near Almora. He was born in a Marathi Karhade Brahmin family. Pant took over as the Chief Minister of United Provinces (Present Uttar Pradesh) from1937 to 1939. He served as Union Home Minister from 1955 to 1961. As Home Minister, his chief achievement was the was the Re-organisation of states along linguistic lines

First Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh 

Chaudhary Narayan Singh was the deputy CM of Uttar Pradesh from 1979 - 1980. Most of the people knows him as a Gurjur leader. He was the political leader in Indian National Congress party. His son Sanjay Singh Chauhan was a Member of parliament representing Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh in the 15th Lok Sabha.


First Women Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh

Sucheta Kripalani (25 June 1908 - 1 December 1974) was born in Ambala, Panjab(Now in Haryana), into a Bengali Brahmo family. She was an Indian freedom fighter and a good politician. She had a quality of a good leader that's why she was the  India's first female Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 1963 to 1967. She had also become a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. She retired from politics in 1971 and remained in seclusion till her death in 1974.


There are total 75 district, 18 divisions, 80 Lok Sabha seats and 31 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. Present Chief Minister of UP is Yogi Adityanath his original name is Ajay Singh Bisht. He was born on 5 June 1972. He the the Mahant of the famous Gorakhnath Temple of Gorakhpur. First time when Yogi Adityanath won the election that time he was only 26 year old. He is the famous leader of a political party name is BJP(Bhartiya Janta Party). He has a lot of quality of a leadership. In his government in UP corruption is going down continually.
